The ‘Up Close and Personal’ Photo | Perth Portrait Photographer

This last Sunday I was reading some of my favourite photography blogs, when I was inspired by a behind-the-scenes photo.  It showed the photographer up really close to the subject, so close that I was like “whaaat! you can get that close, with that lens!  I didn’t think you could do that!”.  I guess that’s why I read other photographers blogs, to find inspiration.

So, I set out to experiment with the ‘up close and personal’ pose on my family, which I’ve named as such because, well, I get up pretty close.  When my family had had enough I started picking out objects around the house.  I actually quite like the results, so I think it’s worth it.  I thought I’d show you some of my favourites.

None of these images have been cropped, which shows you how close I can get.  I can’t wait to include a few shots like this in the next session.
